Depilatory cream is applied with a spatula and spread on the skin areas to be treated. After leaving it on for a short time the ingredient thioglycolic acid breaks open the protein of the hair which then dissolves. Since the root of the hair is not effected by this treatment the skin is really smooth only right after the application. Daily usage of the depilatory cream would be necessary, but as it contains ingredients damaging the skin it can cause allergic reactions and irritation of the mucous membrane.
Advantages of hairlessperfect in comparison with the depilatory cream
Hairlessperfect is as easy to apply as the depilatory cream, but it is also tested dermatologically. Spread the gel carefully on the respective area and rub in gently. It is best to do this in the evening because when taking a shower in the morning the gel can just be rinsed off again. For a successful treatment this should be repeated daily. A complete depilation of the legs takes about 10 – 12 months, the bikini-zone about 8 months and the upper lip 6 months.
