The removal of the hair with hot wax is a temporary method. Warm wax is spread onto the area to be treated with a spatula and then, with the help of cloth strips, pulled off again in an opposite direction. This rather painful method provides completely smooth skin for about a month. Then hair regrows, but it is thinner and softer. The treatment then has to be repeated. The growth of the hair will actually decrease, but is not stopped permanently.
