The light flash method also removes the hair with a high energy light using a flash lamp here instead of a laser. This light is absorbed by the root of the hair and transformed into heat. Local heating then leads to sclerotisation of the root of the hair. The flash light method can however only be applied with dark hair or hair with dark roots since light hair does not have the pigment melanin that the laser absorbs. An overdosage can cause pigment dislocation and/or changes in the skin structure and colour as well as burned skin.
Advantages of hairlessperfect compared to the light flash method
Hairlessperfect must be applied daily and over a longer period, just as the flash light method since it addresses the catagenic phase of the hair-growth-cycle. The natural components of hairlessperfect cause a delay of this phase which weakens the dermal papilla. The hair-growth decreases and the hair becomes finer until it does not grow any more at all. Skin irritation and other unwanted side effects are almost excluded, following detailed studies.
